These terms apply to Hazards QLD, operated by Digitalis Health Pty Ltd (ABN 84 689 650 888).
Purpose
Hazards QLD aggregates hazard and operational information to improve situational awareness. It is an independent service and is not an emergency service or an official government warning channel.
Safety
Data can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or changed by the originating source. Do not rely on Hazards QLD as your sole source during an emergency. Follow instructions from emergency services and official authorities. Call 000 in a life-threatening emergency.
Notifications
Notifications are a convenience layer. Delivery can be delayed or prevented by network, device, operating-system or third-party notification services. A missing notification does not mean there is no hazard.
Saved places
Saved-place matching reflects available source geometry and the zone you configure. A match indicates spatial relevance, not a prediction of personal impact or safety.
Emergency planning
The emergency-plan feature is a personal preparedness aid for information you choose to record. It does not replace current advice, evacuation directions or instructions from emergency services and official authorities. Review your plan regularly and keep another accessible copy where appropriate.
Source ownership
Source information remains attributable to its originating organisation. Hazards QLD may display, transform or link to source material subject to applicable source-use conditions.
Each source is used under its publisher's licence or copyright terms, with the attribution each publisher asks for. See the Sources page.
Service changes
The service may change as sources, product capabilities and operating arrangements evolve. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page.
